The Longboard Power Slide.

Question

I want to learn how to power slide any good ways to do it? Any super special technique?

Make sure you have higher durometer wheels, anything 81a and above are easier to slide.  Also the shorter the wheelbase is on your longboard the easier it is to slide.  Buy some sliding gloves so you can put one hand on the ground and use the other hand to pull on the other side and make sure you really push with your back feet.

Get a softtop with a flex fin.

It might sound dumb, but practicing powerslides on a skateboard or sector-nine is really helpful. Just don't break your clavical.

what the h**l is a longboard power slide? i've ridden a lonboard or two and it took power just to turn that beast---and you want to "slide" it? maybe on a shortboard--but i cant help you here.
