Lord of the Flies is a very short, easy read.

You should take the time to read it yourself, or else you are being academically dishonest, cheating yourself, your instructor, and your fellow students, as well as missing out on a really interesting and important story.

Use spark notes. Basically it's set in WWII and centers around a group of "civilized" British schoolboys on an island. They have to fend for themselves and eventually come to personify different aspects of human nature. It's a good book
