The MP Shahid Malik was against the war in Iraq like most muslims BUT?

voted very strongly against investigating the Iraq war.

WHY??

Ive never understood the reasoning for this. Could anyone explain?

Because usually its the other way around, like the Conservatives supported the war but wanted an investigation
