im a 16 year old male, i wanna be in the Marines when i graduate from highschool. ive been researching on it alot this past yr, i just dont know one thing. at what age do u tend to retire when ur a marine? does it vary or what?

  1. It all depends on what you have done within the service and the more your are active within the Marine Corps, the better the retirement pay will become.


  2. you can retire in 20 years.. so like the guy above said, if you enlist right outta high school at 18 you retire when you're 38 (which is still young) and you still get all the benefits when you retire.

    then you can find another job or go to college or just spend the rest of your life chillin because you'll still getting paid w/benefits by the marine corps once you retire

  3. If you enlist when your 18 you can retire at 38 with full benefits for you and your family..Not bad huh...
