The Mayan calendar ends on December 21, 2012AD, what will happen?

well there have been so many predictions that I don't really believe any of them any more I will wait with interest and anticipation. However if it's going to end there is nothing you can do about it. You can be parnoid and stock up on water and food. However I don't think that will be needed.

Just do what I did during the year 2000 for y2k sit back and relax with family.

Many Biblical Scholars [with PhD's who've studied the Bible and other various religious teachings from centuries back] have mentioned that 2012 will be the year of the "end of times".

I've followed this myself with Bible Prophecy. The men/women who study and present their views are 'not' nuts. They've devoted their lives to studying these things.

I was born in 1951 and when I was in grade school life was simple, there wasn't near as much violence, murder, wars around the world, overcrowded cities and countries, etc.

Nowadays the world is seemingly out of control. Greed and worship of $$$ appears to have infiltrated the hearts and minds of so many people.  Where has it gotten them?

My knowledge and study of GOD's word=Bible, tells me that what's written in the Bible is happening now and more intensely than ever before.

Any living Mayans will begin missing appointments, being late for meetings, forgetting birthdays ... that sort of thing.

Other than that, on December 22, 2012AD people will arise in the morning, get a cup of coffee, read the paper to make sure there wasn't a killer asteroid that destroyed the earth last night ...

...  and then will begin looking for the next doomsday prediction to worry about.
