Will Maddys parents never recieve justice, probably not no but what kind of justice you mean depends on your opinion. A more important question is why havent Maddy and the other two children had justice from their irresponsible parents who think it is appropriate to leave three under-5s alone while they go and enjoy dinner

It's very sad that poor Madeleine will just become another unsolved case, especially when someone somewhere must know something, even if the culprit anonymously tipped where her body is, that would be better than her family never knowing.

Why do the parents refuse to answer the Portuguese police questions or take part in a reconstruction - surely if they really wanted Maddie found they would do anything even at the risk of facing jail!!!

Sad fact is the innocent do not stop talking and volunteering information whilst it is the guilty who maintain their right to keep silent!!!

The investigation is not over but merely archived so it can be reopened any time.

All the McCanns have to do to get it reopened is go to Portugal and speak to the police - but do not hold your breath because they will not do it!!!!

Is Maddy alive or dead, i think it's one question that will never ever be answered, just like the Ben Needham case all those years ago (google him if your to young to remember).

BUT what i do know for sure is that the McCanns should be tried for neglect.....

unfortunately, some crimes go unsolved ; Jon Benet Ramsey, killed in her own house, tied up , with family home and no charges; the girl in Aruba , disappeared on an island , no body, no charges , no answers ; this is just another case that a perpetrator goes unpunished for now

If the investigation is to close, hopefully the police will hand over the files to the McCanns so that they can continue their own search and then they will stand a chance of finding out what happened to Madeleine.

Otherwise yes the abductor has got away with it and will offend again.
