BQ- do you think if the WWE tried a little bit harder on the New Midnight Express(Holly and Gunn) they could have been a good team?

  1. it was during shane's fued with test, and shane brought them in

    bq..no

  2. The Mean Street Posse members were all connected to Shane McMahon.

The only true wrestler out of the three was Joey Abs, and he was added to the group later than Rodney and Pete gas. The three debuted at the same time after multiple on-air promos were made about them ruling the "mean streets of Greenwich".

BQ: Possibly, but then again, WWE doesn't always try with tag teams. They have atendency to put two younger guys together and take the more charismatic into singles matches, which usually doesn't work out well.

  3. BQ: That new version was just plain horrible. Gunn and Holly hadn't found themselves yet...and were fresh off of the Smokin' Gunns tag team and Holly was fresh off of being called Sparky Plug...a race car driver. There's just no way it could've been taken serious..plus there was no direct connection with the Original versions of the Midnights. I just think both of them didn't have it at that time to pull it off.

Later on in their career maybe, but there's still nothing like the original.

  5. Shane Mcmahon

  6. Rodney and Pete Gas were friends of Shane McMahon. Joey Abs was not a member until he got called up from the developmentals. Abs was not an original member and was a former member of the OMEGA crew which was the fed the Hardy's ran.

  7. They debuted in WrestleMania 15, attacking Xpac during a match with Shane McMahon for the European title match and eventually they joined The Corporation.
