  1. I disagree, because do they think Chavez, Putin or Ahmedinjad will go easy on her?

I think that we do our women a disservice when we decide to make them equal on the one hand and still treat them like fragile little girls on the other.

You can be sure that this conundrum doesn't happen in places like Saudi Arabia or Kuwait.

  2. There is how things 'should be'

and then there is how things 'are'.

Unfortunatelly people say one thing, and then when it happens they scream something else.

The Mcccain camp was aware of this advantage when they selected this trophy babe.

  3. I don't think it would matter too much to her who said what. It seems to me that she does, in fact, welcome a fight so all the bashing is only helping her become more famous. It is sort of a smart move to busy the actual pit bulls who are the media with trivial rumors aka publicity about her. And it seems that you just can't ignore her.

  4. The Media WANTS Obama to win. They realize that the low brow showin' their butts attacks on a 17 year old girl was not the way to win this election . It was the most "in the gutter" assault I have seen in over 30 years. It was so bad that even the Liberal media was blanching.

They didn't even want to talk about Palin's record as Gov. Many accounts only wanted to mention her being a Mayor.

Do you even know what a Governor does? Might be interesting to find out considering she is the only one out of the 4 on the tickets.

  5. No. After her speech, and the speeches supporting  her, she's "fair game. Go easy on the Barracuda Moose Slayer? Give me a break.

They have set her up as Zena the Warrior Princess!

  6. If that's true, then the media is not "liberal," is it?

Sarah Palin is a fool.  If you think the media has been unfair to you, the LAST thing you do in your first appearance in front of the world's media is complain about how the media has been unfair to you!

Dan Quayle complained about the media.  So did Spiro Agnew.  Not the kind of models a Republican nominee for Vice President should want to follow.  America doesn't need "Danielle Quayle" or "Spira Agnew."

Besides, John McCain used to refer to the media as "my base." Well, are they, or not? Or is he too senile to know the difference? At least he can claim "senior moment." What's Hannah Alaska's excuse?
