The Melting Pot restaurant?

Question

Soo...prom is in a few weeks and my date is taking me to the melting pot beforehand(It was his idea). I've never been there and I'm wondering, like, how it works?

I really like this guy (we're not dating) and I don't want to be all nervous and stupid on the date. I want to know what dinner will be like so I don't look ridiculous and out-of-place.

So, please, in depth, tell me what dinner is like at the Melting Pot

It's fondue.  You dip different food into a pot of cheese.

The guy will like it if he can show you something new, so don't feel weird if you have to ask.  If he's never been, then you'll both have fun with the new experience.

Haha.. That is so sweet. :) Let me tell you, the Melting Pot is WONDERFUL! It's upscale, definately. Dress to impress. The food is amazing, be prepared to have some of the best fondue you've ever had. If you've never been the waiters are extremely helpful. However, I recommend the Fondue Fusion. Its sure to have something you WILL like.  

How it works? Well, personally I love it! You are given a four-course meal, beginning with selecting your cheese, salad, main entree and dessert.

The server will bring your cheese out first with an assortment of veggies and fruit. It's really yummy, especially the green apples. (may sound wierd, but trust me, its not) :) All that is required is that you dip, lol.

Next, the salad.. Pretty basic.

The main entree, has to be the most fun! Depending on which meal you decide on you will be given an assortment of raw meats. (sounds gross, again, its not) A hot-oil kettle will be heated on the table and you simply dip and wait for about 2-3 minutes for it to cook. :)

Finally, dessert.. No matter what dessert you get, I promise, you'll LOVE IT. Just think, strawberries, marshmallows, angel food cake, all dipped in CHOCOLATE!
