The Mexican Masked Marvel, Sin Cara defeats Sheamus
The Friday Night SmackDown segment took place on July 15 at Uncasville, Connecticut. The Mexican Masked Marvel, Sin Cara, took the victory against The Celtic Warrior, Sheamus, via pinfall roll.
The SmackDown segment started with the World Heavyweight Champion, Randy Orton, giving his comments about the title match against Christian at 'Money in the Bank'. Christian also confronted him and said Orton that he would be the winner of the 'Money in the Bank' fight. Later on, The World Champion was announced to face the Big Red Monster, Kane.
The first match took place between the Intercontinental Champion, Ezekiel Jackson, and Ted DiBiase. It was an Intercontinental Championship match and Jackson had to defend it. The IC Champion took the incredible victory in a short time after putting DiBiase with his finishing move 'The Backbreaker'. When the match finished, Cody warned DiBiase that if he lost a single match in the future he would also implicate his face with paper bags.
After the DiBiase match, his partner, Cody faced the former United States Champion, Daniel Bryan. As Cody has become the most lethal wrestler these days, so he brutally defeated Daniel by a three-count pinfall, after hitting Cody Kick from the top ropes. The WWE Universe disliked that victory and booed Cody, while he was going to the locker room.
After beating Tyson Kidd last week, The Mexican Masked Marvel, Sin Cara, was waiting for the Celtic Warrior, Sheamus for this week. Sin Cara amused the WWE Universe with his actions and stunned Sheamus by defeating him after rolling for three counts. Wade Barrett also watched that fight sitting at the announce-table. When the match ended, Barrett came into the ring and hit the Brogue Kick on Sheamus. After that, Barrett hit Sheamus with his finishing move “Wasteland”.
The former The Nexus and Corre members, Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater faced each other before their 'Money in the Bank Ladder Match'. The high-flying superstar, Gabriel took the amazing victory over Slater after hitting his finishing move '450 Splash' and pinning for three counts. Gabriel proved himself better than Slater by that victory.
The last non-title match took place between The World Champion, Randy Orton, and Kane. When The Viper, Orton was near to the victory, Christian came out and interfered in the match. The Viper left the fight and came on the floor to face Christian. The referee made ten counts and The Viper disqualified.
