The Mexicans.

The first time I was ever called a Mexican was by a Queensland Taxi Driver in the mid 1990's. He claimed that he called Victorians by this name because we are "very poor and from South of the border". Back then Victoria's economy was particularly bad and hence the reference.

I would recommend that you refer to all South Australians (regardless of their footy loyalties) as 'Croweaters', which is the traditional slang.

The only people who refer to Victorians as Mexican's are those who are envious of what Victoria has.

NSW people carry on like they are the 51st state of the USA anyway.

I think Port may win........ by 6 points but don;t care one way or the other.

Well I'll be ... didn't expect that reaction.  I visited my Grandfather in Corowa, just north of the border as a young tacker ... he referred to the other side of the river as Mexico .. indeed Grandad told me that's what they'd always called it and there was always a friendly rivalry between Corowa and Rutherglen.  

Nothing to do with depression or jealousy, it was a geographic thing.  The other side did say the river was the natural barrier against cockroaches!

Anyway the Mexicans will be wearing grins under their sombreros this weekend.

If its POWER of the PU$$Y..it will be exhilaration

If its POWER of the PORT  it will a HEADACHE...

I like the PU$$Y, personally , both teams had big wins over the Roos, and both had near misses, in this finals series.  They finished 1&2 and when they toss the captains will have those numbers Tredrea 1..Harley 2, so which way will they finish in order of the ladder or captains numbers ?    On finals form , hard to pick ...but being  a VIC , my pick is  the ....CATS..by 2 pts ..
