What are 10 examples of sayings, idioms, aphorisms or figures of speech from that time period which are still used or no longer use.

This website has hundreds words from Spenser's "The Faerie Queene" with their meanings.  Even though Spenser wrote at the same time as Shakespeare, for some reason, he decided to write in Middle English, such as in the time of Chaucer.
