The WWE Champion The Miz injures The Great Khali in Monday Night Raw
The Great Khali has been injured by the current WWE Champion, The Miz, during Monday Night Raw on 14 March, 2011.
The Monday Night Raw show started with The Rock sitting in his room, addressing John Cena. He warned Cena to talk to him 'like a man' and also blasted The Miz for disrespecting his family last week. Meanwhile, Michael Cole isolated himself in a safety cube
so that no one would attack him.
At the start of the show, the anonymous Raw General Manger set up two matches: one between The WWE Champion Miz and The Great Khali, and the other between John Cena and Alberto Del Rio.
The first match started with Khali dominating the ring, and putting down Miz. When Khali applied the vice-grip on Miz’s head, Alex Riley confronted Khali. Khali hit Riley with the Khali Bomb, but Miz attacked Khali with a steel chair from behind, after which
he collapsed on the mat with blood streaming down his back. Miz was subsequently disqualified.
The United States Championship Match was played between Daniel Bryan and The King Sheamus. Sheamus had announced earlier that if he lost the Championship, he would quit. The match ended with a victory of Sheamus as the new United States Champion.
Randy Orton fought his match against the last member of the Nexus: Mason Ryan. Orton had injured three other Nexus members with his dangerous punt kick during previous matches.
Orton’s wife and daughter also attended the Monday Night Raw show. Orton was victorious against Ryan who, along with the other three Nexus members, will be banned from appearing in the Wrestle Mania match between Nexus’ leader CM Punk and Orton. The Viper
did not stop there; he came back to the ring and punted Ryan as he punted the other members of the Nexus last week.
In other developments, Vickie Guerrero was officially hired in the Monday Night Raw show when she defeated Trish Stratus.
The last match was fought between Alberto Del Rio and John Cena; Brodus Clay also joined the Del Rio. Due to Clay’s disqualification, John Cena won the match and Del Rio and Clay started beating Cena. Soon, Rock’s trademark music could be heard, but it was
Miz who made an appearance dressed like Rock.
Miz came in the ring and started beating Cena who tried to recover, but was checked by Miz with a “W”. The Monday Night Raw show concluded with Miz standing over the Viz.
