Emmanuel Eboue started with the ASEC Mimosas youth academy and then made it into their first team, thus making his professional football debut in 2001. He moved to Beveren in 2002 and was there for three years before finally moving to Gunners in 2005 and
is still at the Emirates.
He also became a part of the Ivorian national team in 2004 and has so far given sixty appearances while scoring two goals for them. He has been a constant performer for Arsenal apart from playing at the Emirates for more than five years now. He has made
a hundred and twenty two appearances for the Gunners so far and has scored three goals.
Yaya Toure-Ivory Coast/Manchester City:
Here is another player from Ivory Coast who is twenty seven years old and is immensely talented. He has been a successful midfielder so far.
Toure is six feet and four inches tall and an amazing passer. He has great command over the ball and has achieved a lot of success in Europe. He also started at Mimosas’s youth academy and made it to the big leagues in 2001 starting with Beveren.
He had been part of Barcelona FC since 2007 but moved to Manchester City in the summer of 2010. So far, he has only made seven appearances for the City and has netted one goal. He has also been a part of the Ivorian national team since 2004 and has given
fifty three performances for his country while scoring six goals.
It is only considered to be a matter of time before this African enforces him on the football field with Manchester City and makes his presence well known in the English Premier League.
Emmanuel Adebayor-Togo/Manchester City:
Emmanuel Adebayor is known as the Togolese king and has played his part in making the African footballers world famous. He single-handedly took the Sparrow Hawks to the 2006 World Cup. Although, the team could not go further than the last sixteen round but
still, Adebayor played his heart out for his country.
This twenty six year old is from Togo and he has given various stunning performances in the English Premier League. He joined the Gunners in 2006 and with his sharp shooting skills; he quickly became one of the team’s best goal-scorers. He has so far scored
sixty two times in a hundred and forty two appearances for them.
He also played for AS Moncao before and was voted to be the African Player of the Year in 2008.
Joseph Yobo-Nigeria/Everton:
Joseph Yobo is a thirty year old Nigerian footballer currently playing for Toffees. He has been a dominating figure on the field for Everton and despite being on loan right now to Fenerbache in Turkey; he is still an Everton hero.
Yobo has put in some exemplary performances for both his club and country. He has established himself as a born leader and has led both his national team and Everton in numerous matches.
He has been an imposing player who has a firm figure, makes fierce tackles and gives great headers. He is a former Olympique Marseille player and has made himself deserve a key role in both club and country performances.
Kolo Toure-Ivory Coast/Manchester City:
Here is another player from Ivory Coast. He is a strong defender, energetic and continues to play at the high level.
