This fan mania will be held at the Raleigh Convention Center in downtown Raleigh. It is an amazing chance for all fans to get together and show their love for hockey. The event has developed significantly since it first started in 2006.
Something special this year is that the National Hockey League (NHL) is partnering with the popular food market chain, Harris Teeter.
Harris Teeter has been a long-time sponsor of Carolina Hurricanes and this is the first time it is teaming up with the NHL to sell tickets for the event.
Three fun-filled days of hockey and at last the NHL All-Star Game will be a cherry on top of this gigantic chocolate ice cream mountain that the fans will enjoy.
In an interview, NHL’s Senior Vice President, Don Renzulli, said, "NHL Fan Fair and NHL All-Star Wide Open will give all fans a chance to be part of the All-Star excitement," and "There will be no shortage of programming, attractions and activities for fans
of all ages".
For people who are interested, tickets can be bought from all 39 Harris Teeter locations, online at Ticketmaster, the Progressive Energy Center for Performing Arts, or the RBC Center, till the 27th of January, one day before the fan fair.
Tickets can be purchased at the event if you miss them. Purchasing the tickets in advance can save you money, because they are for $8 and $10 at the door, respectively.
Children under the age of two will be admitted free of cost, but Harris Teeter is offering a special deal for devoted fans as they can purchase the tickets all the way until Sunday at the same $8 price.
The charismatic event for sports fans underneath one roof will start on the 28th of January and continue till the 30th. It will occupy more than 150,000 square feet of the Convention Center, offering fans fun and interactive games,
special attractions, special guest appearances by players, trophies and other unique hockey memorabilia, live TV and radio broadcasts, trading card zones for collector fans, pins, food, live music performers, official NHL merchandise and many other events.
