Does anyone know what Tabitha or Mae means?? It doesn't matter what language it is, I just wondered.

And I've heard that the "animal" meaning is Gazelle. Not do sure if it's right or not.

I know that Tabitha is in the bible aka Dorcas

The story behind the name is priceless, and you would like your daughter to remember it.  But the melodic components of the name just don't gel.

I love the name Tabitha!  Personally I don't give much creedence to the meaning....unless it's downright awful that is.

Tabitha Mae is a beautiful name, although I prefer the spelling Tabetha with Beth as a nickname.

I think that you'll have more people associating "Tabitha" with Bewitched, not the Bible.
