So, with them REFUSING to PASS the Line Item Veto, in reality, the House and Senate have REALLY been controlling the country!!

I am so glad you posted these Dem lies!  When Clinton left office the debt was close to 6 trillion already. Yes his budget before the year balanced but that doesnt mean the end result balanced! He finished his term by adding 133 billion to that debt! In spite of what you have been told by dems the debt NEVER went down under Clinton.

He used huge social security surpluses to off set his deficits. These were loans from one branch to the other. We will have to start paying them back come 2017 and how are we gonna do that?

My source uses nothing but the nunbers from the US treasury dept. So dont give me thumbs down argue with them!

Oh, they don't spend all right: not on people who are struggling, not to improve the environment, not for parks, bridges, flood and hurricane control, not for health care, not for education.  But start a war where they can fill the their own pockets and the bank accounts of their buddies, well that is a different story, worth getting our country deep in debt and beholding to China.  Wow, what a way to govern!

Because Republicans spent too much time making themselves rich and making grand mistakes of invading Iraq that is costing us billions of dollars that even surpassed the numbers of the Vietnam War and it will keep on growing as long as we are in this war.  Oh, tax break did not help either.  People should pay for the amenities the gov't gives us like miltary, road, bridges, education etc... as nothing is free.  Pay your taxes and all shall be well.
