The Nephilim Race? Many today question what they were, and what happened to them.?

Question

Much debate over the Nephilium? How could they be twice in Earths past? Once before the flood and once after the flood? With careful reading from Genesis we can see the the Scriptures show both existed.

Look at Scripture:

Gen 6:1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

Gen 6:2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

Gen 6:3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

Gen 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

To begin with there was no church till Christ set His church up.The Sons of God? Who were they? Well, Angels and Adam were direct creations of God, and would have been refered to the "Sons of God" since they were directly made from God. The Fallen Angels who followed Satan were cast out of Heaven and into the Earth. The fallen Angels had never seen a Female till Eve. When they saw the Daughters of Men, and that they were fair, they desired them, and the daughters of men bare children, who becaome giants in the land, then and later. How could it be later? It had to have happened again after the flood. There were giants in Cannan's land. What about Goliath? Was he not a Giant? Think About it!

Gen 6:4a There were giants in the earth in those days; - This was before the Flood of Noah's time.

Gen 6:4b ..and also after that.. - This was sfter the flood.

What happened in both times?

Gen 6:4c ..when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

This was just simply looking at the scriptures, and not looking at extra-biblical materials.

You're not asking a question, only stating your beliefs. What is your question? And shouldn't you ask this in the Religion section, not History.

The history is not so important except to show that they have always been here. It is the present that we must deal with.

Jesus spoke of the vipers and ran the money changers out of the temple. They are still trying to enslave us today. Look to politics, industry like agribusiness, and the money changers for earthly power. The power of Christ is the only power that is really, but we must get beyond thinking that we are powerless, that serpents can rule us.

The Bible isn't meant to be read literally as history. So the whole discussion is meaningless.

Well, and I'm no expert, in my opinion, there were nephilim before the flood, but being giants and everything, I think most of them died during the flood, but some of them didn't die, (otherwise look for Leviathan in Job, as it is supposed to be one of the last dinosaurs alive).

So, slowly the nephilim race came to an end, but it wasn't as sudden as the flood.

It's my humble opinion. Also as the Bible is so old, who knows how "before" was the before and how "after" was the after. (It's not that I don't believe because I'm a firm christian, but, maybe the after was just a few years or days?)

Gen 6:4b "and also after that" was NOT after the flood.  Where are you getting this idea from?

Goliath was big, a very very big man.  That does not make him any way related to the "Giants" that mated with the daughters of men (other than the fact that genes would have been passed down, etc.).
