  2. Disagree - 9 teams have a better record than they do. If it was a couple of teams, then maybe you could argue over semantics.

    But they've also lost 7 of their last 10, giving up 7.3 runs/game in that span - not signs of the best team in baseball.

I love it how someone is giving thumbs down to those disagreeing but isn't man enough to come out and explain why he believes the New York Yankees aren't another high-end wasted payroll.  ******* coward, you call yourself a fan?  I bet he won't have a problem e-bragging once things town around though.  Now go crawl back into your hole.

  6. totally disagree...do they have the best record?...no...so therefore they arent the best team in baseball...plus...there are many better teams than them right now such as the red sox and angels

  14. Their lack of quality pitching is keeping them out of the top three teams in MLB.  The Tigers have the same problem.

  15. Even a Yankees fan, looking at the stats, could not say that.

    The Yankees are 6.5 back in their division, 4.5 or so back in the wild card. They have a 61-52 record. That's a .540 winning percentage.

    Right now, nine other teams in MLB have a better winning percentage.

    The Yankees could potentially become the best, but right now, they aren't even close.
