Can you please tell me facts on the LAWS of Oak Woodland Ecosystem?

LAWS are:

Land- soil and rock type, slope, elevation, land formation

Air- Climate, weather, wind

Water- Precipitation, lakes, rivers, streams, oceans

Sunlight- Sunny or Shady days, temprature, energy sources.

Please help me!!

Also, tell me waht type of adaptattions need to take place for the Oak Woodland Ecosystem!

  1. Oak trees prefer level or gently sloping land with rich, well-drained soils.  If the soil quality isn't good, pines tend to dominate the forest instead of oak.

    Oak forests occur in temperate zones.  In the eastern U.S., they commonly occur between 32 and 42 degrees north latitude.

    Oak forests do will with between 35-45 inches of precipitation per year.

    Oak seedlings are shade tolerant.  After they mature, they require full sun to thrive.

    Adaptations:  Oak trees are strong trees, well adapted to withstand the occasional windstorm.
