hello... I have been accepted to The Ohio State University, and will be attending there in the fall of 08.... I hope to be a commercial pilot one day.. and I was wondering if someone can tell me something about there Aviation program? all I know is that there Aviation program is offered through the college of engineering, which makes it an engineering degree because of the cirriculum.... thank you!

  1. Ohio State has a great program. I'm investigating several schools right now to select one to enter and I'm tempted by Ohio, in spite of how far from home it is. Aviation programs at universities are all fairly comparable. Just apply yourself to topping the class. How well YOU perform is more important than which school you attend. Good luck.

  2. The Aeronautical Science program for flight students is not the same as an Aeronautical Engineering degree. The true engineering degree is by far the better of the two because it can employ you if you can't find work as a pilot.
