  1. It's horrible, sounds like a WNBA team. They should of went with the Outlaws, thats a little better.

  15. LOL The Thunder was the name of an NFL Europe team and the minor league hockey team in Stockton, CA. I'm surprised they didn't go with the Outlaws. That would've sounded a lot better for an NBA team. I can't even picture a name like the Thunder for an NBA franchise. I'm looking forward to seeing Thunder vs. Lakers, Thunder vs. Heat, Thunder vs. Celtics. Sounds a little odd

  17. It's a great name...if they were a bowling league team or a minor league hockey club (see Wichita). In all seriousness, they should've gone with the Outlaws or Slickers. In fact, even the other name they considered, the Barons, would've been better. This being the case, if they want to sell any merchandise, they better get the logo and uniforms right.
