The Omagh Bomb documentaries, did you watch them?

did and I was sick to the stomach. I actually lived in northern ireland when that happened and cause it wasn't uncommon back then I barely took any notice of it (I don't mean that disrespectfully, what Im getting at is that it was basically commonplace to hear of bombs), but watching these really opened my eyes.

I cried throughout it.

I can't believe anyone would be evil enough to treat human beings like this over some stupid peace of land (I am catholic by the way), Im disgusted.

Thank god there is a different northern ireland today than there was 10 years ago.

  1. The people in the Republic were disgusted with it as well. Most of us hated the IRA just as much as we hated the Unionist paramilitaries. It was an awful thing to happen and totally futile. The Republic don't want people like that and all the real IRA do is make us want less and less to do with them. It was a horrible pointless tragedy.
