The Other Year to cause upset in Dobbins @ Shelbourne A1 525 at Shelbourne Park
More than half of the participants are enjoying better odds than The Other Year in Thursday’s Dobbins @ Shelbourne A1 525 at Shelbourne Park. For those who want to play safe, the black b***h is not an ideal option. But it does not mean she does not carry
any chance whatsoever.
The Other Year is returning to Shelbourne Park after striking an excellent win at Clonmel. On the fourth of November, she stunned everyone by demonstrating an extraordinary performance. After leaving the fourth box, she led throughout, bagging the first
prize easily by five and a half lengths.
The b***h covered the area of 525 yards in just 28.93 seconds and if she comes up with anything similar, it would be a comfortable win for her. The b***h’s ordinary record at Shelbourne Park, however, would prevent the punters from staking too much money
on her.
On her last two outings here, the daughter of Skywalker Magic completed the order of finish. But things have changed now following an outstanding win; therefore, one should not completely rule her out of the equation.
Other hounds in the pack are: Buddy Minor, Crossfield Jet, Rathbawn Tommy, Gizmo Smiling and Ushers Luke. The meeting is due to get underway at 21:29 GMT. The winner of this will receive a prize of 400 Euros.
Ushers Luke recently took three straight wins, but at the lower level. The black dog is making a huge step up in class, and cannot be trusted blindly. Similar is the case with Crossfield Jet, who faced a terrible loss after two good A2 wins. Buddy Minor
is in bad form. On his last three trips, the black dog was fifth on the table. A better result from this draw is unlikely.
Gizmo Smiling also lacks consistency. He moved up to the open level at the start of last month, and did well to seize the second place. But he lost rhythm thereafter, and was awful on the previous three outings. Rathbawn Tommy, on the other hand, has something
to show. The black dog is in good shape following a couple of good rides, and will be a big player.
