  1. I am a Scot and also a true brit and proud of both of them but to pledge alleigance to the queen is carrying  things a bit far the only person I pledged alleigance to was my wife.

    as you say who cares.

    bye

  2. I know, it's a load of bulls--t isn't it? I can't believe the government are wasting their and other people's time with this sort of nonsense.  It's well past time that the whole lot of cadging Germans were thrown out.

P.S. as someone who calls himself a scotsman, Gordon Brown should be ashamed of himself.

  3. I do, She is my Queen.

  4. It's the "who cares" attitude now prevalent in this once great country of ours that's allowed it to get into the S**t state it's in.

That's why the yobs rule the streets, the criminals break into your house with impunity and we've ended up with no national identity.

It's the "who cares" that have allowed this Government to ride roughshod over the population and pass legislation that defies logic to the detriment of personal freedom.

So long as it doesn't affect you personally "who cares!!"

One day the "who cares" may wake up, take their heads from out of their @rses and realise what they've allowed to happen. But I'm not holding my breath.

  5. its just the typical plop from a socialist government. more empty rhetoric. why they cant stop with these stupid ideas and just fix the roads, rail, schools, hospitals, justice system, the list is endless

  6. I do! she is our Sovereign & has quietly (without screaming out her deeds to the world) done more for Britain than the Labour party could ever dream of doing. Why? because she and the rest of her family are educated in the arts of diplomacy since the cradle. AND did you know, that QE 2 was a mechanic and a nurse during WW2 and enjoyed no greater luxury to any of her comrades...bear that in mind.

  7. I would hate to think my children had to pledge alliegance to the queen as I don't believe in her and would never pledge alliegance to her either.  What has she done that means we all have to pledge anything to her, don't our taxes mean enough??  anyway i agree the citizenship issue needs addressing, but pledging to some women who the majority of us have never met, and some of us never wish to meet is not gonna help anything.
