Okay I've heard that Queen Elizabeth of Great Britain does not require a passport so does that mean other people in family are or aren't required to have one, or other monarchs in other countries aren't required to have one?

  1. The Queen doesn't have a passport because British passports are issued in the name of the sovereign.  Since she is a recognized authority to do so for all British subjects, the presumption is that she is recognized without ID.  She also doesn't need numbered license plates.

In the U.S., passports are in the name of the Secretary of State.  Strangely, however, she has a passport :)

  2. She's the queen, HRH Elisabeth II of England, of course she needs not a pass port. Pass ports are for common people she is royalty. LOL yeah but in her defense, I am pretty sure she ain't going to stay in this country illegally, or try to take jobs that Americans wont do, or fly a plane into a building. I could be wrong! I mean you never know, she may have a wild side. Yet something tells me no. Well that and we like England. Ha let's see if Iran's president can get his butt in here without one. I know let's let him and Hugo Chavez in but keep their body guards out. Then let's see who can make it from New York to California first,....or alive. Now that would be interesting. I see a big pay per view deal with that idea. =)

  3. Because she is royalty, so she's 'better' than us commoners then!

  4. Rank Has It's Privileges.

  5. Well, its just to keep her apart. That is, apart from all the normal people in the world. Maybe she does not need a passport when she visits countries the monarchy enslaved and terrorized? Yup, thats it I guess.

  6. every one in the travel industry knows who she is and what she looks like.
