Is there a particular reason, or as a nation have we become even more sick and uncaring?

  1. Sad as it is, I think your right, we now live in sick society.

  2. We like to believe we are a nation of animal lovers, and many of us are, but there have always been people who will abuse animals just because they can. They are nothing more than cowards who pick on defenceless targets. I don't know if cruelty is on the rise, it may just be that people are reporting it more now, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was. People seem to care less and less these days.

  3. Makes my blood boil. I would love a dog, even a rescue one to give it a loving home, but know it would be selfish of me to keep one because of the hours I work and the place I live. Some people are just so uncaring.

  4. because picking on animals is highly entertaining - just ask any meat eater.

  5. I don't know the answer to this.  Iv just read the news on the link and I feel sick at the picture of that poor dog.   I have a dog myself which I adore and could never hurt.  I don't understand the mentality of people who get animals just to hurt them, but then some people only seem to have children to hurt them too.  I don't think thing will ever change, we can only hope that more people get caught.

  6. Because there is no respect for others any more.

  7. if a child can kill another child, what hope do you have that animals will fare any better. It is on the increase, the RSPCA have been saying this for a long time. So is the level of child abuse and other sickening crimes, let no one tell you different.

  8. hard times are here, and the easiest way to vent your frustration, is, to kick the dog.

  9. How many Staffies have been handed in to the RSPCA or abandoned recently? A lot. Where have they come from? Uncaring people who wanted them as a symbol and now have gotten rid of something they can no longer afford, a bit like going shopping really! It's disgusting! A pet is for its' life and not an accessory! My beautiful little cat died on Friday because she'd been bitten by a feline leukaemia bearing cat who hadn't been inocculated. Mine had but she didn't stand a chance. Our vet who had looked after her since she was six weeks old was as devastated as i was, she was only ten years old. He said it's prevalent now and even well looked after cats are picking it up after fights. When people are allowed to have animals they should do everything to protect them and not miss out on vital injections! I take it we're still not supposed to say CHAVS! - well tough!!!

  10. The Woman/Girl who drop-kicked and beat Cat (Current News Video on BBC Website), should be drop-kicked into a furnace - ALIVE!

If the Muderfarkus can do it to Animal's, they can do it to Humans and therefore should be considered as a threat under National Security and eradicated from society - Most Permanently.

  11. Both sick and uncaring!

in the last 2 years I've taken in 10 foster dogs

Most of them were from people who had got the dog for the way it looked and found out they just couldn't cope with a Sibe but of few of them were actual cruelty cases

One had his back legs broken from being kicked down the stairs!

I honestly just can't understand why anyone would want to harm an animal

  12. 'cause people don't care no more.

  13. The RSPCA is an organisation that is run from expensive office block by highly paid excecutives.

It is now more a business concern than a charity.

Of course animal cruelty is on the rise.

If it was not, the excecutives would not be in very well paid jobs.

Please donate to the RSPCA..(The excecutives need your money)

  14. hi daisy

i think the answer is in your question ,,

  15. Nobody seems to give a d**n about anyone no more, yes of course there are still nice people out there

But on the whole this country is going down hill fast

I dread to think what my little man will see in his lifetime

The ONLY thing we can do is get Labour OUT and hope to god that the Conservatives can change things

But i feel that will never happen and that the decline of the UK is too far gone

And anyone with any sense knows PART of the reason why

  16. When a man gives his love to a sheep is that cruelty or pleasure to the sheep? :O
