The Rainforest Jumparoo folds for storage? Really??

I have this huge thing taking up lots of room in my living room, but it "folds for easy storage," taking up perhaps 3 less inches of space. The legs sort of fold in, awkwardly on top of each other while the springs bend and twist.... is this really the storage they talk up? It's rather unimpressive.

  1. I live in a room with my son and husband and we have that too. I leave it out all the time because my son loves it so much. It takes up a lot of room but I couldn't figure out how it "folds" either.

  2. Ha. Our doorways are so narrow that if I want to move it I have to take it apart. A very good reson who its home is in the play room. Stupid way of folding, but my daughter loves it. Unlike holly, I got mine at a yard sale for ten dollars! Lucky me.

  3. i just leave it out all the time.  same with the exersaucer and all his toys.

our living room is all baby stuff!  but it's easier than putting it away and taking it out again every morning and night.

  4. We have one, too.  It's HUGE and always in the way!  Luckily my daughter's starting to get tired of it, so it'll be "folded away" for good before long!

  5. I have the same one it doesn't really store but i love it when it's open :)

  6. if you dismantle the bottom everything should fold flat...that is all i did yesterday to put it in my trunk

  7. I have to agree with you!  You pretty much dismantle the thing!  I have to get rid of mine..my son is too big for it now lol.  90 bucks well spent!

  8. Yeah, I love how it said folds up for easy storage.  I end up not doing anything with it during the day when not in use, and just throw it in my bedroom on our bed.  But again my son just loves it so much, and it allows me to be able to make breakfast and lunch with him in there.  I am in a small one bedroom apartment.  With the jumper, and his highchair... there is almost no room to walk anymore, lol.  What I found the best was to unlatch it fold up the seat thing, and then it does fold up a bit more.  Bt again I generally just move it out of the way.  :)

P.S.  I know it is a pain in the butt, but it is awesome, and gives me a few min to cook, or clean up a bit.  Also not heavy so easy moving.

  9. I have the same problem now. I cant figure out how to fold it
