The Rays are in 1st. They are 30 games over 500. Then how come, no one goes to the Rays game?

Obviously, not a good baseball state. The Marlins are the same way, they have had big games against the Mets and Phillies all year, and there were more fans from NY, NJ, and PA in the stands than the locals.

The Nats and Orioles draw more than the FL teams, and they're both horrible.

i really don't know. I went to a game last year and it's a very nice stadium  and now they have the best team in the majors

Florida I think is more of a college football state with Miami, Florida & Florida State & it is ashame that the Rays are in first place & low attendance & my question is, what if the they go to the WS will attendance go up & if so, will it be local fans or fans from the opposing team?

There are many many rays fans in the tampa bay area, but there is a huge difference between tampa and st pete and the dome isnt anything special. florida is huge with college baseball.  but they need a new place/stadium for the pros.  When they played a game in O - town earlier this year it was insane how many people showed up. Tickets will soon sell out thats a guarentee.  unless a hurricane comes again which is why nobody has shown up the last 2 weeks, gas prices shot up.

Florida just aint a baseball friendly place.  

You can put a championship team in Alaska, but you'll still see small attendence.

I do feel for the Rays', but hey they are going to the playoffs, they are happy. :)
