Question:

The Red Sox-Yankees predictions?

Yankees will beat Boston 28-2, 17-6, and 22-5 in the 3 games. The Sox have absolutely no chance and have been getting lucky since 2004. Wouldnt it be surprising if the Sox come within 15 runs of the Yanks in any of the 3 games?

  1. Won't you be surprised when your keeper puts you back into that straitjacket?

  2. Game 1: Yankees 2 Red Sox 5

    Game 2:  Yankees 3 Red Sox 2

    Game 3:  Yankees 7  Red Sox 1

  3. Oh, I'm sorry, are the two world series rings the Sox have this decade making you sad.

But don't worry! The Yankees will win it this year!! Don't worry you're only FIVE games away from the wildcard & there's no way those terrible red sox and minnesota twins will get the Wildcard. (oh i'm sorry, 9.5 games from the division lead. but the Rays will drop off eventually, right???)

But seriously, do you even watch baseball or just ignorantly bash the Sox? The most runs the Yankees have scored this year against the Sox was 15 and only won by 6 runs. (Buchholz was pitching so the game could only end up with a loss)

WOW, the Yankees swept the ORIOLES such a HUGE feat. because you know, the Orioles are a contending baseball team.

    oh... wait.

To say that the Yankees will score 67 runs in 3 games is just wishful thinking because the chances of that happening is 0, sorry to say. Obviously you don't watch baseball. I seriously doubt the THIRD PLACE Yankees will sweep but hey, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and maybe the Yankees will win one game.

  4. I'm really going to enjoy Y/A after the kids get back into school and it can avoid these types of inane questions.

Yes, absolutely, the Yankees should beat Boston by a minimum of 320 runs in each game and every single Yankee will hit for 2 cycles in every game.

Boston, humiliated by the defeats actually give back their two lucky world series championship and gives them to the Yankees.

In a surprise move, they hire YOU as the Yankee GM and allow Cashman to stay as your assistant.

  5. d**n, I am a Yankee fan & putting up predictions like that where i come from is fightin words there mister! lol

I think realisticly they will take 2 out of 3 but not by those margins. Come on 28 wtf?

  6. I for one would like to see a Yankees sweep over the Red Sox but I am going to take it one game at a time & unless Yankees take 2 out of 3 or sweep, then their play off hopes diminish more & you will be getting many not so nice responses to your ridiculous predictions in the scores from both team's fans

  7. game 1 - yanks take it with pettite on the mound

game 2 - red sox take it with ponson on the mound

game 3 - yanks take it with moose going for his 17th win

btw - derek jeter will come up big in both wins for the yanks

  8. Even if the Yankees are able to take 2 out of 3 from the Sox, they will still be trailing the Boston by 4 games in the wild card with no games remaining at Yankee Stadium vs the Sox. The Yankees have a powerful lineup, but against the Sox' pitching, they won't even score 17 runs in the three games combined. It is time for the Yankees and their fans to realize the season is lost, and move forward with coming up with a game plan for the future. The Yankees continue to trot out pitchers such as Sydney Ponson and Carl Pavano and expect to be considered contenders? Did Al Leiter and David Wells turn down contract offers this year?

Oh yeah Derek Jeter Jr., its the F'N Orioles(last place in the A.L. East)

  9. NYY wins 3 straight.

  10. Oh yeah! Knuckle touch! Boston's gonna lose tonight!
