Maybe not that close yet, but now Spurs have taken Bentley, and they are signing Arshavin.... seems like Spurs are making some good moves. Will the rivalry return?

  1. they lost more than they gained with Keane and probably Berbatov.

if they get David Villa... then maybe

  2. There was so much "talking up" of Spurs - at the start of last season,  it was CL for sure, following their 5th place the season before .... and what happened 11th !!!

The Gunners have slipped a bit, that is true, but they would have to be in free-fall for Spurs to be considered serious rivals.

  3. have they officaly signed any of them yet??? mate it's all talk talk with use spuds. dont speak before it actully happens..it will it use in the face as per usual.

but it's only the spuds HAHAHAHAHa

  4. the rivalry has always been there. You don't just stop hating your local rivals because they have become average. If that was true i would have stopped hating Man City years ago.

  5. In case you don't know they spend 70 odd million every year. they need to overtake a few teams below them  before they catch us up.

  6. yea gd point
