The Rock and John Cena finally went head to head with each other at WrestleMania 28 in the ‘Once in a Lifetime’ Match. As expected, it was an epic battle between both the performers, with a tinge of personal enmity along with professional enmity.
The match meant a lot for both the superstars. The Rock had to accomplish his childhood dream of beating the best in the business and John Cena was his target. Similarly, John Cena had to beat The Rock to show the world he is the legend now and that The
Rock’s time is over. Well, whatever during the fight definitely made both fighters stand out of the bunch.
The match started with Cena showing his strength to The Rock. First to attack was Cena but The Rock replied with tossing him up in the air, Cena landed on the canvas. The Rock seemed in form disregarding all thoughts of The Rock being out of form. The Rock,
who is known for his speedy ways, gave Cena some hip tosses and then a speedy rollup pin, which surprised Cena. By this time, the Cenation leader knew that he is against someone tougher and speedier than him. Never seen before, Cena stood at one corner trying
to figure out how to take The Rock down.
The Rock attacked Cena to throw him out of the ring. However, Cena was not intimidated yet and he came back again with a show of power. He delivered some breath-taking suplexes and then a bearhug to The Rock. The Rock skipped the lock and retaliated. The
fight went on the same way with both men giving out their best turn by turn. Cena then delivered a high impact Attitude Adjustment and pinned but The Great One beat the count and retaliated with a Rock Bottom, but Cena got up.
The Rock even used his Sharpshooter to beat Cena and similarly Cena delivered his STF. This was the time when The Rock’s speed overcame Cena’s strength. The Rock quickly rose up and delivered another massive Rock Bottom to pin Cena. The Rock won while Cena
was left in shock. Cena sat in the middle of the ring trying to figure out what happened.
