Question:

The Roe vs. Wade Debate

I am a Conservative and originally was against abortions and the 1972 Roe vs. Wade decision. Since then the vast majority of the 30,000,000 abortions have been done to liberal women killing likely liberal children. Now 30 some years later the country has become Conservative and Republican because the Liberals have aborted themselves into the minority. Is this a positive thing from the 1972 decision or is the cost to our childern still too high?

  1. Taking the lives of innocent children is and never will be the right decision.  Yes, the cost for birth control is much too high.

  2. If you actually look at the statistics for who gets abortions, it is usually women in poverty.  Poverty is related to higher rates of criminal activity.  Crime started to go down significantly right about the time that the babies aborted in 1972 would have become criminals.

I'm for it.  If someone isn't able to be a decent parent, they shouldn't.

  3. How does it feel to be so smug you can make a Jack *ss out of yourself and never acknowledge it? I know Republican Conservative families who have flown under the cover of darkness to rush their Daughters to a neighboring state to give them an abortion. I guess it's all in how you tell your lie isn't it?

  4. You do not even know what you are talking about.

  5. I think you are liberal, trying to make conservatives look bad.

  6. Darn.....too bad it couldn't have been 30,000,001

  7. The larger issue in Roe v. Wade is the question of federal authority.

The USSC totally ignored the fact that the real question in the issue of Abortion is when a State decides when a Fetus is a "person" under its own Homicide statutes.  That is not a federal question, nor is it one for the Judiciary.

To find Jurisdiction, they had to manufacture a basis, which they did through deciding that there is a Right to Privacy, despite acknowledging that the word appears nowhere in the entire Constitution.  They found it in an "emanation" from a "penumbra".

Now, I agree that the problems and losses associated with Abortion are serious, both to Mothers denied them and the Fetuses that suffer them.  I do not take the question lightly.

However, I find the prospect of a federal government that has no limits much more serious than either possibility of how Abortion might ultimately be resolved.

As for yourself, A real Conservative would not alter their viewpoint on Abortion based on the fact that you believe (regardless of the accuracy of the belief) that more Liberals have abortions than Conservatives.  You're a fake, but I don't know whether you know that or not.
