  1. I think..........

that they don't have unlimited $$$! They get lots gorverment founds for visit/trips to other countrys, clothing............etc.....

    They don't own the country..........

  2. They have inquired throughout their history, various land and properties around the country side in England. Prince Charles has his own agricultural farming and company that produces organic produce. It's located in Duchey county in England on Highgrove.

The English crown belongs to several common wealth countries from which they too receive money.

Here is a link..... Hope it helps you.

  3. That report is biast!. Don't let the media influence your perception of reality. You have a brain, USE IT!.

  4. no, they don't own the country hahaha. It's inheritance and their land and their property and position that keep them rich through all sorts of channels.

  5. The Queen has many personal holdings including private royal residences which she inherited from her mother. Her personal art collection is worth at least £10 billion, but is held in trust for the nation, and cannot be sold. The Queen also technically owns the Crown Estate with holdings of £6 billion; however, the income of this is transferred to the Treasury in return for the civil list payments.

In the United Kingdom, the Crown Estate is a property portfolio associated with the monarchy. Historically the possession of monarchs, it has evolved into a unique institution which transfers its income to the Exchequer, that is to the national government.

The Crown Estate is one of the largest property owners in the United Kingdom with a portfolio worth over £7 billion ($14.35 billion) as of 2007. The majority of the estate by value is urban, including a large number of properties in central London, but the estate also owns 110,000 hectares of agricultural land and forest, and more than 55% of the UK’s foreshore, and retains various other traditional holdings and rights, for example Ascot Racecourse and Windsor Great Park.
