  1. It's always been the same.  Rugby is so much friendlier - not on the pitch but certainly in the stands and outside.  The fans are brill

  2. the footie thugs will never take note...........they are to thick and bored with the game they follow..........football is boring, has little rules, and the most difficult one,(By all accounts)the offside rule, is not understood by most footie fans anyway!

    Boredom leads to violence!

    I rest my case!

  3. i go out for football and rugby when its england and it is a better atmosphere after a rugby match.

  4. why would you go out when you can discuss it on the web?

  5. Come on - Rugby is played in Public Schools, and copied by the Grammar Schools in my day.

It's the game of the real and pretend middle and upper classes.

Football way always the game of the working classes, kicking balls around the streets.

    What do you expect?

    (Joking)

  6. got my cans never moved all day except for bog

football rugby league then the kick and chase good

    day all round

  7. Well done England

  8. Indeed so. I've always thought rugby is a much friendlier game than football.

  9. The British Bulldogs in full flight and at least they know how to sing the National anthem with pride.England soccer team take note.

  10. Yeah, here in Argentina if you are in the wrong place at night after an important soccer victory (even between clubs!) and you might get yourself killed.

  11. Yes its great, often after a Twicks game it is soooo interesting to see a bunch of footy fans get on the train singing or making noise suddenly to see a group of white shirts with roses over the heart and stop. Especially when we glare at them in the way to say dooo carry on at your peril lads.

I have even heard footy fans exclaim 'oh my god' and go weak as they head into london with a sea of white.
