Emanuele Giaccherini believes that the defeat against Russia has come bearing its own benefits.
The uncapped Juventus defender points out that on one hand, the humiliation has exonerated Italy of being the favourites for the Euro 2012 crown, while on the other hand, it has filled the Azzurri squad with a burning desire to
disprove their sceptics.

into the final squad.
