The Second City Saviour, CM Punk attains Top 5 place in WWE’s Power 25 list – WWE Update
The Second City Saviour, CM Punk retained his respect among the WWE Universe as the former WWE Champion entered in the Top 5 list of WWE as the Number four seeded superstar in the Power 25 list for September 10.
The Second City Saviour participated in the Monday Night Raw segment last week on September 5. Punk challenged Kevin Nash to face him one-on-one as Kevin had become a headache for him from the last month. The COO, Triple H not only assaulted Kevin but also
fired him due to misconduct. Both superstars have been friends for many years and the dilemma of a potential fight between the two has increased. As Kevin was fired, Punk was relieved from the interference and turned his side to the COO.
The Straight Edge Superstar, Punk was also set to face R-Truth during that segment. The Miz was also in the corner of Truth. Miz interfered in the match many times by distracting the referee. Later on, Miz was kicked off from ringside as the referee noticed
him interfering. The Second City Saviour took a tremendous victory over Truth by hitting him with his finishing move GTS for a three count.
Afterwards, the COO once again came face-to-face to announce something in front of WWE Universe. The COO stated that Punk disrespected him and also disrespected his wife. Therefore, the COO added the stipulation in his match against Punk in the Night of
Champions is that there will be no disqualifications in the match. The COO also stated that if Punk lost the match, he might be fired. The Second City Saviour commented that he will go along with the condition only if Triple H agrees to give up the position
of COO if he loses to Punk. The Chaperone accepted with full confidence to Punk’s condition.
On the base of the above mentioned activities by the Second City Saviour, the WWE in conjunction with the Academy of Wrestling Arts and Science put him in the Top 5 list at fourth place. Last week, Punk was sitting on sixth place.
