Question:

The Secret to the Universe is 7129 / 6105195?

After his death a plaque was found hanging in Edward Leedskalknin's bedroom with those words inscribed.

Ed doesn't strike me as a man with a leaning to practical jokes.

Do any of you see any significance to those numbers or know of anything they might relate to?

  1. I know you have an interest in this man and coral castle (which I very much want to see in person one day).

So, let me ask you does this number (equation?) make any sense within the context of any of his writings?

Interesting thing to ponder though. I wonder what context is needed for understanding it.

  2. No I can't say I know, but I am intrigued. Let me know if you find anything on the subject, please.

  3. I thought it was supposed to be 42.

    Dang it.

  4. A secret is a sentence that has a subject and a verb.  The ratio is not a sentence, therefore, it cannot be a secret.

Of course, there are significant numbers, e.g., pi, e, the fine structure constant, the speed of light, the gravitational constant, Planck's constant, and so forth.  Nevertheless, even these are not meaningful until they are put into equations, which are mathematical sentences.
