The Showdown continuous as The McCoy’s Premier League Darts enters decisive stage!
The McCoy’s Premier League Darts is entering its peak as the final eight will face their destiny tomorrow.
The stakes are sky high, the ratings have never reached this height before and the competition has never been this wild. The bets are on and the stage is set as the darts showdown of the year hits the stage tomorrow at the Metro Radio Arena.
It has been a pleasantly surprising start to the darts season this year. The League, up till now, has given over the edge results. Lewis defeated Taylor, Whitlock swept Lewis and Wade brought Whitlock on his knees by a margin of 8-0.
Taylor shines at the number one spot in the Premier League while Simon Whitlock and Adrian Lewis take the second and third spots respectively.
“The Power” has been amazing throughout the League yet his defeat by the skillful hands of “The Jackpot” was beyond belief. It moved every bettor’s mindset.
Another shocker came when Simon Whitlock defeated World number two Adrian Lewis. Whitlock was an under-dog in the face-off against “The Jackpot” and came out as a roaring lion that can be seen on his after win celebration visuals.
Whitlock was taken out by James Wade who completely knocked him out by giving his opponent absolutely no chance at all.”The Wizard” appeared helpless and hopeless in the battle against Wade which later on became a joke rather than a battle.
Kevin Painter, Andy Hamilton, Gary Anderson and Barneveld have been up and down in this year’s League and their chances at the pursuit of the Premier League title are slim as compared with Taylor, Lewis and Wade.
Wade, Lewis and Barneveld have a tie in the points at the League table. It would be extremely important for all of them to outshine in their individual battles to go up in the rankings and qualify for the semi-finals.
The McCoy’s Premier League Darts 2012 is an entertainment mega event. This year’s League has been the best League by far and it is about time that darts should be made an official part of the Olympics.
Tomorrow is the beginning of the ultimate showdown of the final eight. The battle field is ready and the beer is chilled as the darts giants collide.
