The Simpsons is a family show?

Personally, I think that "The Simpsons" is a family show. I just wanna know if anyone agrees or disagrees with me.

Almost all episodes are rated TV-PG (in USA) and the movie got the neutral rating of PG-13 which is intended to appeal to all age groups.

I agree that it's a family show. The things shown on there are no worse than what would be discussed and/or done by some on a school playground.
