The Sims 2 Apartment Life.....can I download it tonight? I am confused...?

It was supposed to be released today in the US, but I can't find it in any stores,and the ones that did have it were sold out. The EA games downloader says it is available for download on the 27th, does that mean I can play it tonight at 12:01?????

Usually the website provides a certain time for you to be able to download it. On the other hand if it doesn't provide a certain time, then you could probably download it at 12:01. If it's sold out everywhere try calling the stores everyday to see if they could reserve a copy or buy it off the internet.

Why don't you just go to mininova.org?  I download it from there the night it was shipped. Very fast download.

Ok, so the site said 12:00am CDT, central time right? I live on the east coast so that's 1:00am for me.  its now 1:31 my time.  I still cant download it.  The site still only has the option to pre-order.  I really don't get it.  First they say the 26th then the 27th and even now we cant get it.  you would think they would want to distribute their product to the public but i guess not.
