I HAVE BEEN INSTALLED & USE THE SKYPE PHONE IN MY COMPUTER, IS IT LEGAL OR NOT IN DUABAI?

  1. Did you say you have it installed in your computer in Dubai? did you try it? Anyways I am using Onesuite.com voip and let my friend use my account and she is in Dubai and it worked. So I don't know how they banned voip in Dubai, maybe only for well known voip like Skype.

    As an alternate, you may want to try Efonica.

    Efonica is based out of Dubai, UAE and also has offices in New York.

    I live in Canada and have been testing Efonica over the past year, and the call quality is quite good, from here.  But, you will have to test yourself from, or to Dubai.  I expect it will work as their offices are in Dubai, UAE...

  4. Right Now VOIP is banned in UAE, but the good news is that they are considering lifting the ban soon
