The Smokey Eye Look?

Question

I would like to know how to get the smokey eye look.

Please include the product used, preferred cheap and can be found at wal-mart or department stores . and a pic.

Colorgirl products work find for drugstore brands, also NYC isn't bad either and really cheap.

Use a black pencil to outline your eye.  Then a palette of three or four eyeshadows in the black/grey range.  Use the darkest color first smudging into the eyeliner on your top lash and on the outside corner of your bottom lash (about 1/2 cm in).  If there are four colors use the next darkest next, or if there are three the darkest still, to blend into your crease and top lash in a sideways V pattern only about a 1/4-1/2 from the corner of your eyelid in.  Then the next darkest color (the midtone) on your whole lid.  Then the lightest color under your eyebrow on the bone to highlight. Finish with mascara.

i went to mac and learned how to do smokey eyes.  i bought a few of the things but you could easily subsitute them for cheaper products found at walmart.

1. Put a white shadow all over the life from eyelashes all the way to brow,

2. Get a darker color gray and put it on the lid.

3. Trim your eye with black eyeline then go back and smudge Black eyeshadow on top of the liner.

4. Take the black shadow again and fade it into the crease of your eye where it closes.

All you need is White shadow, Dark gray shadow, and black with some liner and of course a great mascara!

with black 'kohl' eyeliner, line your entire eye- smudge the top a bit...then get some charcoal or even black eyeshadow and apply over the liner on top and up to your eye's creases. get some nice bronzer, or whitish face powder/eye shadow and wipe the very top of the dark eyeshadow so it blends in with your skin. next get some dark mascara and apply, take some white eyeshadow and put it right on the inside creases on either side of your nose...makes the smokey eye pop!!
