The Soda Bloating Myth?

Hello, im on a diet and since ive started a couple months ago this diet a couple months ago. Ive been drinking diet soda to help me stay a little fuller inside to supress my apetite a little. Not to mention to keep me awake with the caffine so I can be more active. Some people are telling me that it bloats you though, I understand that which is why I drink it sometimes to stay a little fuller. But now im hearing the bloating makes you fat. ?? When I drink large ammounts I can't even tell the difference when I look in the mirror. And I remember when I was skinny about half a year ago. I used to drink it to stay skinny sometimes. And I couldn't tell the difference either. I think when they say soda bloats you they mean inside. But there is no change on the apearence outside. Am I right or wrong because thats the way it seems to me. I also heard that different people have different effects on soda just like everybody takes effect to everything differently.

  1. the bubbles in soda water and mineral water help make you feel a little fuller, and have no sugar- drink coffee to stay awake and drink juice for natural sugar to give you energy- squeezed yourself is better. You get used to not drinking flavoured soda but it takes a while to wheen yourself off- they can be a little addictive, but putting less rubish and getting your palette trained not to want the sweet taste is worth it  


  2. Your body runs on sugar, specifically glucose. Nothing else. Everything else you eat gets turned into glucose or stored in the muscles & liver as glycogen.

    Drinking diet sodas trick your body into thinking it is getting FUEL, but instead it gets CHEMICALS it can't use. So to get what it wants, it causes people to crave REAL sugar even more, they binge, get fat, and the cycle repeats because they're stupid.

    The body has had MILLIONS of years to perfect how it runs. Putting chemicals and fake c**p in it won't let it run efficiently, and you can see the results of all that junk when you see fat, unhealthy people whining about their diets not working.
