The Stadium Bookmakers 480m Trophy – Final: A thrill-laden event for sport lovers
The high-stakes race of The Stadium Bookmakers 480m Trophy – Final was a thrilling and exciting event for the Nottingham sport lovers who experienced a rip-roaring battle along with the upset caused by Bit View Micko.
Once again, the C. Price trained black dog proved that he had a lot of stamina and talent under his belt. Remember, the three-year-old veteran hound has won a number of races without favourite tags.
For the grand final game, the bettors underrated the dog and picked C. Lister’s Boher Chieftain as the 5-4 favourite candidate who could not be able to multiply the money staked on him.
The £500 open race commenced at 9:22 (GMT). A huge crowd of the sport fans were present at the stadium to enjoy the heated contest.
Bit View Micko broke from Trap 4 while Boher Chieftain started from Trap 6. In the beginning of the race, the favourite runner looked to be aggressive, but he failed to sustain his momentum and pace.
Garlyn Rocky and Bit View Micko soon surpassed Lister’s pupil. Then, there began a close clash between these two runners. In the middle of the track, Price’s trainee managed to outstrip his strong rival.
After taking lead, Bit View Micko showed sheer aggression and applied his utmost firepower to maintain a save margin from his competitors.
Finally, the son of Westmead Hawk out of Temple Tia managed to finish first by 4½ lengths. It was a great feat indeed.
Garlyn Rocky stood second while the third podium position went to Boher Chieftain. Monleek Amigo grabbed 4th spot while Belvedere Emma and Move Over Jered came fifth and 6th respectively.
Prior to that race, Bit View Micko had won three big races in a row during August-September. On August 31, he beat the hot favourite rival, Daddy Knowsbest, to seal first position in The Lovethedogs.co.uk Standard. Rest of the two triumphs came with the
favourite tag.
As a whole, the dog possesses an epic track record. He has proved his class on many occasions. Hopefully, he will be able to accomplish some glorious feats in the years to come. Good luck to him.
