After only a year of retiring, he got into the football management business as he started with the Manchester united Reserves team in 2008 and continued to work as their coach for the next three years.
He recently signed a contract with Molde as he is going to leave the Manchester United reserves team and is moving towards managing the Molde squad for the next four years.
Interestingly, when this player came to Old Trafford, he did so at a price tag of only one and a half million pounds and when considering that and his input to the club, he is considered to be one of the best ever signings of the
English Premier League.
Ole Gunnar Soskjaer was a player that was always teased for having a’ baby face.’ He was an amazing player in the Manchester United squad as he netted the ball ninety one times for the club. His highest football accomplishment
came when he scored four times in only twelve minutes in a fixture against Nottingham Forest.
Nemanja Vidic: £6m
Nemanja Vidic is a Yugoslavian twenty nine year old who still plays for the Red Devils; he came to Old Trafford in 2006 with a transfer price of only six million pounds.
He plays the centre back position and started at the youth academy in Jedinstvo Uzice in 1989. After moving through another two youth academies he made it to the first team squad of Red Star Belgrade in 2000.
He made sixty seven appearances with his first club while netting twelve goals, he then spent a one year loan spell with Spartak Subotica from 2000 to 2001.
He ultimately did move to Spartak Subotica in 2004 where he spent two years making twenty seven appearances with only four goals scored. He then made his final move to Old Trafford in 2006 for six million pounds.
He was also made a part of the Serbian national team in 2002 and since then, this youngster has made fifty three appearances for his country and scored twice.
Nemanja Vidic has become an integral part of the red Devils squad sine the time of his signing as he has created a perfect partnership with the likes of Rio Ferdinand.
This player has won three English Premier League titles, a Champions league, three Carling Cups with the Red Devils and he also wears the captain’s armband in the squad.
He has been an amazing addition in the Manchester United squad as he is a really good play maker, who initiates and moves numerous attacks forward, he has made a hundred and forty one appearances for the Red Devils but has only
scored twelve goals in the whole endeavour.
Patrice Evra: £5m
Patrice Evra is another currently playing footballer for the Red Devils. He is the twenty nine year old Senegalese who plays the position of left back in the Manchester United squad. He started his youth career with CO Les Ulis
in 1992, then moving through CSF Bretigny he made a move to Paris Saint Germain’s youth academy in 1997 and after only a year he made it to Marsalas first team squad.
