  1. There are 613 commands of which 10 are highlighted. All are important even through some of them cannot be observed.

  2. 10 commandments come from a ritual prayer found in the Egyptian book of the dead.

  3. I believe they are............God Bless...........

  4. The ten commandments are not arranged in order of importance. to GOD, sin is sin not worse than another. However, the order they are in, I heard in a sermon is relational. the first are relational to God, the next are  relational to family and the last are relational to neighbors.

  10. The Ten Commandments, or Decalogue are not actually a single "biblical" reality, they are a more-or-less modern creation of cinema; there are different lists of "commandments" in different parts of the bible.  When Jesus lists his "Father's commandments", there are only five!

  11. No, it was a set of rules from God so the people of Moses could live by. Are the Bill of Rights in the US constitution arranged in order of importance?

    3. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain: for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

    4. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

  16. Yes, they are.

The first 4 talk about what constitutes a crime against God, the 5-th regards honoring parents, who are like earthly representations of God, and the other five refer to crimes between man and fellow man, from the most serious (murder), to the less serious (adultery, stealing), then a sin that is committed through words and not actions (bearing false witness), and finally, a crime of thought, committed within the person's mind (coveting thy neighbor's wife, etc.)
