  1. I got Marciano's Suzy Q putting away Walcott and Charles rated number one, followed closely by the bombs Thomas Hearns landed against Cuevas and Duran a close second.  Dempsey's destruction of Jess Willard landed Jack in third place, just edging the great Joe Louis who's bum of the  month club lands him fourth on my list, the right hand that Joe got Billy Conn with put away a lot of others as well.  I gave the number five spot to Muhammad Ali simply because Ali took out both Liston and Forman with right hands, even though both were consider much heavier punchers than Ali.

  2. Thumbs up to Blogbaba for a great answer here.  Yes Marciano's patented Suzy Q right cross won him the title in a fight he was losing and regarded by many as the most famous knockout punch ever.  Thomas Hearns also had a vicious right cross which he knocked Pipino Cuevas with to win the title and totally destroyed Duran with a well timed right cross.  Joe Louis also had a great right cross and won many fights with it.  Jack Dempsey also comes to mind as far as great right crosses.  Last but not least in my opinion was former great light heavyweight champion Bob Foster who had one of the meanest right crosses in boxing history.
