22. Giuseppe Rossi (Villarreal)
Giuseppe Rossi is a 23-year-old American playing in La Liga. He was born in New Jersey and moved to Italy with his family in 2000, when he was offered a spot in Italian club Parma’s youth academy.
He was only 13-years-old at the time. After spending four years in Italy, Rossi made the move to Manchester United’s youth academy in 2004. He made it into the Manchester United first team in 2005, and managed to score a once in United’s 3-1 victory against
Sunderland.
In 2006 he was sent on loan to Newcastle United and then went back to to Parma for another loan spell. In 2007, he made the move to Spanish side Villarreal. He has played a hundred and two games for the Yellow Submarines, scoring forty goals.
He has also been a part of the Italian National team since the under-16 level and slowly climbed the ladder to the national squad in 2008. Since then he has made seventeen appearances as a striker and has netted three goals. Right now he is considered to
be the second best striker that Villarreal have with his amazing technique, movement and passing abilities.
He is a player who has formed good striking partnerships with stars like Nilmar and Diego Forlan because he is an amazing passer, who supports his partner well.
Rossi has consistently managed to keep his goal tally for the past three seasons in Spain in double digits.
He is only 5ft 8in, and what he lacks in height he makes up for in vision, strength and technical endeavours on the pitch.
Rossi is a player who has been talking about returning to Serie A and this would be a great loss for Villarreal and indeed the whole Spanish La Liga. The fans are just hoping that Villarreal’s amazing start to the season continues, so Rossi decides to stay
with them.
 
 
 
21. Jesus Navas (Sevilla)
 
Jesus Navas is a 24-year-old Spaniard who currently plays for Sevilla. He started his youth career with Los Palacios in 1998 and moved to Sevilla’s youth academy in 2000. It took him another four years to break into the first team squad.
He first he made it to the Sevilla B team in 2003 and after a year there, with thirty two appearances and two goals scored, he climbed the ladder to make it in the first team.
Since then he has made a 197 appearances for Sevilla and netted 17-goals. He is also a part of the Spanish under-21 team since 2004 before making it to the national team in 2009.
