The Torres vs. Maeda fight was one of the best I've seen. What do you think?

Watch ANY Torres fight and you'll be impressed.  When he's standing, he throws down.  When he's on the ground, he's ALWAYS looking for a submission and is constantly threatening triangles and armbars with his rubber legs.  The guy is great to watch... i think Maeda was surprised that Torres didn't tap from the toehold.... that thing was on pretty tight.

The emotion from Torres is what set it apart from the others Sunday night. That kid can move. Shame they had to stop it though.

yeah, that was a great fight.  I really wanted to see it end differently, but that eye, scratch that, that whole side of his face was completely shut.  They were smart to stop it when they did, and the rematch should be excellent.  They looked like they really didn't like each other, they were throwing heels, and elbows every shot they had, it wasn't like other fights.  That fight alone made it obvious how much better WEC is than that c**p EliteXC.

I agree with you 100%, these two guys came into the cage and wanted it, you could tell by the look in their eyes and by the way they fought they were here to fight.

Very few times do you see two guys fight with the passion and intensity that those two men fought with this Sunday anymore.  This fight is definetly up there with the best, can't wait to see what more great fights the WEC will be showcasing in the future, thank god for the WEC.  If it weren't for the WEC we would have to have been satisfyed with that excuse for a MMA card put on by EliteXshit.

Fight of the year so far...I think Werdum vs Vera has potential to be, thats a great stylistic fight!
